This is a full-time Optometrist role based in Crystal Lake, IL. The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and manage ocular diseases, and prescribe glasses, contact lenses, and other vision correction options. Daily responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, educating patients on eye health and treatment options, documenting findings in electronic health records, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals as needed. The role also involves providing pre- and post-operative care for relevant procedures, making appropriate referrals to ophthalmology or other specialists, and participating in practice-wide initiatives to improve patient care and clinic efficiency. The Optometrist will work closely with support staff and leadership to maintain high clinical standards and uphold regulatory and ethical guidelines.
